The Aim of the IPN

The aims of the IPN have always been clear: To provide a truly unique service where clients have access to a worldwide solution for the distribution of their visual and printed communications using people that care and that are both local to where the business originates and to where it is finally needed.

Those companies that use and have come to rely on the IPN, are continually amazed at what an organization that depends upon relationships and friendships can achieve compared to one that purely has a directory of participants. To them the term “your global friends” is not an empty promise.

Hobbs the Printers Ltd in the IPN

We were first invited to join this elite and prestigious organisation in 2005. David Hobbs made a presentation to all of the other members during the Autumn 2005 meeting hosted by HP at their European Headquarters in Maastricht. We were confirmed as full members of the organisation in the autumn of 2006 as we had demonstrated our commitment to the organisation through regular contribution to and attendance of the global meetings. We had also been trading successfully with partners in the USA.

The primary reasons we joined the IPN were two fold; firstly we wanted to be able to bring the benefits of this global distribute and print organisation to all of our clients. The ability to print the same or different versions of the same product to the same standard simultaneously around the world is a growing need in the markets we serve. We also believe that the impact of shipping products around the world, both environmentally and economically will become a bigger and bigger issue in the near future. The second reason we wanted to be part of the IPN is to access and share knowledge and ideas with this inspirational group of professionals who work in a wide variety of markets. The application of technology is simply stunning and the willingness to share this with like minded partners brings added value on a scale that is hard to imagine. We as a company benefit from this knowledge and resource and so do our customers.
