Data CommunicationsSend us your digital filesWe can receive your digital files 24 hours a day, every day of the year across our 10 ISDN lines (023 8066 4803) and also from our FTP site. If however, your files are smaller in size (under 10Mb) you can send direct to our origination e-mail at origination@hobbs.uk.com. If you would like access to our FTP site, please contact our IT Manager, Stephen Reed.
As well as being able to receive your publication electronically this way, we welcome the full range of industry standard media types, such as; CD, Floppy disk, USB Stick, Jazz, Zip, SyQuest and other various media formats - and even hard copy manuscripts for us to typeset.
For more comprehensive information on supplying files, you can download or view online, our newly updated guide using Adobe Acrobat version 5 or later. If you do not have this application installed, please download Adobe Reader from Adobe's Website at www.adobe.com.
We would recommend that you take a look at all chapters, regardless of your experience in this field, as throughout our guide there are specific 'points to consider' when supplying files to us for printing.
Although our guide does not include information for Acrobat 6 or 7, we are still able to accept and print from these files.
